Bulgaria trip
Hi, I’ve heard from friends about some nice points to visit (both cultural and nature) in Bulgaria and am currently considering getting there for a week. Could you reccomend sightseeings or landmarks I should visit? Till now I know about Rila Monastery and the seaside. Also if you have tips about planning the trip, I want to move through the country, not to stay in the capital :) Thanks in advance. ... [Posted by Traveller2002 - Sep 17, 04:33]

Euros vs. Local Currency
I'm planning to travel to Europe for Christmas/New Years, but I'm most likely going to stay longer and backpack around Germany and Italy a bit. I've heard from friends that some places, especially Prague, has its own currency and, while they do accept Euros, it's better to always have the local currency as well. Can someone explain to me how this works and what's the best solution to this? Should I stick to Euros? ... [Posted by Amyrich - Sep 17, 03:01]

Spain - Portugal
Hey travel gurus :). Friend and I are looking to travel to Spain and Portugal from Nov17-Dec01 (2 full weeks). I looked around the forums and some itineraries but had a hard time deciding which places go as there is so much to see. We narrowed down to 5 places Barcelona, Seville, Madrid, Porto, and Lisbon; that we would like to explore. Is that feasible given our time frame and does anyone have any suggestions on how many days we should ... [Posted by kzz - Sep 12, 10:28]

(Urgent) Australian UK Youth Mobility and Schengen Visa
Hey everyone, I'm an Australian currently travelling in Europe with my partner (Austria and UK citizen). I have been searching for an answer to this question for a while now with very varied results. I have a valid 24month UK Youth Mobility Visa. I am under the impression that this will allow me to travel in Europe (EU and Schengen) as I was a UK citizen (as under the visa I am in the UK as a resident). My partner and I are ... Travelling USA and not declaring convictions
So looking through forums, and checking it seems to be that information is never shared with the US unless it is through interpol. I'm wondering if most of these visas are done to create money. It seems that by ticking no on ESTA for a conviction that no one as posted they have been stopped at US customs. Surely if this was apparent people would say. Is there anyone on here who's had issues with a conviction ... [Posted by raver48 - Sep 03, 23:59]

Planning an activity for group of friends in Bucharest
Hey Bucharest-experts! We're a group of 6 Dutch guys in our early thirties who have been friends for 15+ years. We've moved to different cities in different countries, but still go on a guys' weekend away every year. This time I'm in the 2-man organising committee, and we've decided to go to Bucharest... mainly because that was one of the few remaining locations in Europe that we could all get reasonable flights to! We'll be going in the weekend of 19 ... [Posted by PoisonousPeanut - Sep 03, 08:14]

Anyone been to Kas in Turkey?
Hi all, I'm going to Kas in Turkey for a week and was wondering whether anyone has been there before? If so I'd be very grateful for any recommendations for things to do, good places to eat/drink, etc. Having never been to Turkey before, I have a few questions: 1) How expensive is it out there?
