Spain in August
I have about ten days at the end of August I plan to spend in Spain, a country I know reasonably well. I'm tempted to drive through a part I've never visited, from Salamanca to Leon and perhaps Oviedo, then west to Santiago de Compostela. I don't mind the heat particularly, especially when it's dry, but I don't want to be baked absolutely, especially overnight; I also wondered how crowded the cities and tourists sites were at ... Need help with itinerary
Hello community. I am a recently retired 57 year old male from NYC. The day after retirement, I packed up a backpack and began what I hope will be a very long journey, starting with Mexico.  Since I can only be here 180 days and I’m on 111, I’m planning ahead. The easy thing is to just do a visa run back to the states or Guatemala but I think I’d like to mix it up a bit.  I love Spain, Italy ... [Posted by Eyedrinkale - Mar 22, 09:44]

Best towns to stay in for extended periods
Hi all, My husband and I are thinking of spending July and August in Scotland this year. We are in our 50's, retired, and traveling slow. We do not want to rent a car except for a few days here or there when necessary. We plan to travel by train and bus between stops. We are looking for recommendations of towns/cities to stay in for a week or longer at a time. Other than Edinburgh and Glasgow, what do you recommend? Our ... [Posted by mrb430 - Mar 18, 09:22]

Eurail/Other Transportation Advice
I am trying to determine if the Eurail Global Pass will grant me access to the transportation needed for our trip. Public transportation (train) and walking are the only ways we will be able to travel; we are not renting a car or making additional flights within Europe. Our itinerary (so far) is as follows: Tuesday, May 21 -- Land in Frankfurt (early am) and get to Sankt Goar. Tuesday, May 21 - Friday, May 24 -- Sankt Goar (wanting to have ... Visa Free travel to St Petersburg (Russia)
Recently I came across some information about ability to travel to St Petersburg and stay in the city up to 72hr VISA-FREE. Russia (main-land) have been on my to-do-list for some time, but visa rules just made everything so much complicated. While 72hr rule will not give much time to visit other areas of the country bar St Petersburg but it's a start. I am looking to share my 'informational-blog' and to hear more from travelers who did this trip. Every ... [Posted by ToddP - Mar 11, 03:55]

Also try some of our most beloved sweets, such as top quality salty licorice candy. Come close to our festive traditions. Challenge his or her friends in some of our amusing mi ... Help with selling on European coact tickets(notor sale here)
Hi there, Recently posted about selling on some coach ticket codes I have with flixbus. However, I realise now this is not appropriate for this forum as it's not a marketplace. Apologies. Best cacio and pepe (and other pasta) in Rome?
Hi all, i'm wondering where to find the best cacio and pepe and other pasta dishes in Rome... Tripadvisor's first result is the conveniently named Cacio e Pepe restaurant, also recommended by Lonely Planet as well, but it has a 3.5 average grade on TripAdvisor, so I'm not entirely convinced...
