deleting something in my hostel review
Hey Sam and Peter, I was rereading some reviews I posted on TP of hostels I stayed in in Scotland. I realised I said something really quite embarrassing. I'm wondering if I could- or if one of the admin could- delete this sentence in parentheses from my hostel review. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I wrote it. 3wks in June what to do after Rio
Hi, we will be on honeymoon from mid june 2011. We will have about 3 weeks to spend and would like to spend a few days in Rio, I would also have loved to see macchu pichu, but I guess its to much in the time we have. Austrailia versus se asia
I was wondering if anyone can help me out with my delima. I just got back from austraila about a month ago and really want to go back. I even got a holiday working visa for there. What to do with my backpacking gear?

Crossing from Thailand into Loa

Hi At the end of this year I am travelling through out Indochina for about 6 weeks. I was wondering what would be the best pack for the job? i have one in mind at the moment which is the deuter quantum 55+10. Travelling from San Francisco to LA
Next summer my boyfriend and I will be driving down the coast from SF to LA. I have read other tips for this trip but I would like some updated suggestions. weather in south america
Hi, Just have to double check... My boyfriend and I are going to South America in 2 weeks...starting in Brazil, then Argentina-Chile-Bolivia-Peru-Ecuador-Colombia...and we are going from sept-may.... I thought we were following the good weather(summer)...we are right? Money
I have read that you need to prove that you have 10, 000 baht per person upon arrival to Thailand as well as your return ticket. Just wondering the best way to carry that kind of money if I don't want to carry around that much cash and I won't have a visa. Can you print off a debit card sum or something to show? thanks! ... Which Rucksack?
Hi all. I will be leaving for my gap year in 4 weeks and desperately need to find a rucksack. I am looking for one which is around 85L in size and has a detachable daypack. I have been looking at the Caribee Thunder Bay 85L rucksack but it doesnt seem big enough. Backpacker Insurance
Just wondering about peoples past experience with Backpackers Insurance. Is there anyone who has been with a certain company who do it for a reasonable rate? Is there anyone who has had a policy and had an accident or other happen whilst travelling and the company were fine with paying out? i'm travelling in mexico during end of november / december 2010... I was wondering if anyone has an idea if we should book hostels in advance....? Airport Shuttles in Europe
Hi there, How's everyone? I will be traveling around Europe and was wondering if it is necessary for me to book my airport - hotel (and vice versa) transfers online beforehand? Is it easy to just grab a shared airport shuttle into the city for a reasonable price? I know there are airbuses to the main train stations and the like but I would prefer a direct airport - hotel transfer if it is not too over-the-top price-wise. I'll be ...
